From seemingly the moment of my conception, I have had a constant craving to understand, to dig underneath, to tear off the wrappings, to embrace the mysteries of this vast universe we share, and to make it a better home for our children's children's children. I'm driven to push the envelope, question authority and be that grain of sand that irritates an oyster until it finally generates a pearl.

I do my little part to change the world by coaching senior level  leaders and their teams in large corporations to get real with one another. It's a joy for me when I get to work with people who come to  understand the simple equation that you can do well by doing good, and that you can do good by learning to trust – first in yourself and then in those who surround you, and ultimately, in the recriprocity of the universe.

I believe the planet is at a crossroads, and our ability to solve the complex social, environmental, economic and political challenges we face will call upon all of us to create a new model of collaboration. We need to listen more and talk less, align more and compete less; we need to overcome our scarcity fears and lean into the collective love, energy and brilliance a strong community can radiate.

And finally, we need to laugh more. The older I get, the more humor I find in life. I want us to take our work seriously, but take ourselves lightly. I want to see how far I can spit watermelon seeds, sing off key with my favorite songs, eat ice cream every chance I get, and pet every dog that crosses my path. We're all on this journey together. And, as John and Paul sang, “We're on our way home.”
